HAMMER THROW COACHING CLINIC

 

World Record Holder & Olympic Champion to Conduct Coaching Clinic in Paarl on Saturday 12 March 2016.

 

Yuriy Sedykh, will conduct a Hammer Throw Coaching Clinic at the Dal Josaphat Stadium in Paarl. The Coaching Clinic is made possible by Athletics South Africa (ASA).

 

PROGRAMME

08:00 – 08:45     Registration – No late Entries once the session started

08:45 - 09:00      Introduction

09:00 – 10:30     Classroom Session

11:00 – 12:30     Throwing Session

12:30 – 13:30     Break

14:00 – 15:30     Classroom

16:00 – 18:00     Throwing Session

 

ENTRY FEE

ASA Licensed Members - free of charge. (Licence must be presented on entry)

Non-Licensed Members – R50.00 – Payable on entry

 

ABOUT YURIY SEDYKH

  •          Yuriy Sedykh (Ukrainian) won gold medals at the 1976 & 1980 Summer Olympic Games He set the current world record of 86.74m at the 1986 European Championships in Stuttgart.
  •          Only two men have thrown over 86 meters in the history of the sport; Yuriy Sedykh & Sergey Litvinov from Russia.
  •          Yuriy Sedykh is regarded as one of the best athletes the world has ever produced.
  •          His achievements in Hammer Throw are placed in the same category as:
