| The 2nd Confederation of African Athletics Cross Country Championships takes place on Sunday 18 March 2012 at WPCC / Keurboom Park. The standard of the 2011 event was rated as world class by the African Confederation, hence South Africa was appointed once again as the host nation.
The Championships will involve national teams from all over the continent of Africa. The races to be contested will be the senior men’s and women’s races, over 12km and 8km respectively; and the junior men’s and women’s races, over 8km and 6km, respectively. There are 6 athletes to a team, making a maximum total participation per country of 24. ... |

| Please be informed that there is only 1410 entries available for licenced athletes for the 2012 Old Mutual Two Oceans Half Marathon.
The Half marathon is limited to 16 000 entries and if entries continue at the current rate, they could all be gone within the month.
Licenced members are therefore encouraged to get their entries in as soon as possible to avoid possible dissapointment.
You can use your current 2011 licence to enter now and update your information at a later date when you get your 2012 number. (New 2012 licences are expected during early December)... |

| Runners who missed the online entry deadline for the tenth Landmarks Half Marathon can enter on the morning of the event at the Western Province Cricket Club (WPCC) in Rondebosch from 05h00 onwards.
The event takes place on Sunday 6 November, and those runners completing their tenth half marathon will receive their permanent numbers to celebrate this milestone. The half marathon starts at 06h00 and the cut off is at 09h15, which gives runners over three hours to complete the 21.1 kilometres.... |
